LED necklace

This is a very early prototype of a project I've wanted to do for a long time: light up jewellery. I used a Kitronik switched coin cell holder to hold a coin cell battery. I soldered on some wire to the + and - pins and attached them to a small sewable LED, also from Kitronik.

I created a piece of acryllic with mounting holes for the battery to hold onto. In the middle of the mounting rectangle I cut a lot for the LED to sit. The P&L are etched on and is my wedding logo.

It's not perfect, it wobbles. But it's a proof of concept. How pretty is this?!
