This post's Friday Fail is a very typical thing that us parents do.
"Do what I say, not what I do"
I talk about failure a lot, about advertising failure and showing children that it's not the end of the world. That we can learn a lot from our own failures.
Yet I'm failing to follow my own mantra. There are challenges that I'm doing at the moment, but I don't want to tell you about them. Just in case I fail to complete them.
Put it simply:
Failing to share a thing because you're worried you will fail complete the thing.
It's also a great way of failing projects: Oh, I don't have to do the thing today cause no one knows I'm doing it.
I am my own worst motivator. Lorraine does not hold Lorraine to account. Lorraine doesn't ask Lorraine how the project is going. Lorraine definitely does NOT encourage Lorraine to keep going. I would say Lorraine is more of a saboteur than a fan of Lorraine.
